All Webmasters are guilty of shortcut hunting when it comes to SEO. The fact is simple. Valuable SEO methods take time & energy. Some people publish content as high as 10,000 words… eek. I can get to a point where its not serving its purpose, in my opinion writing for search engines is dead. You need to be writing for people. For the purpose of reading. So if it takes more than 5-10 minutes to read your content is getting skimmed over. Always remember the purpose of your content. It is to educate, not to spam Google. That being said, content over 1000 words tends to boost rankings quicker than content under 1000 words. You don’t have to commit to every post being this long but its a good idea to work some long form into your blogging schedule.
